This isn't a candle built to smell like the Hollow. It's built to be the calm you return to once the shadows have had their say.
When Gemma first described Daughter of the Night to us, what stayed with us wasn't the darkness itself — it was what she wanted readers to feel once they came up for air. Her world asks a lot of anyone who steps into it. We wanted the fragrance that sits alongside that experience to do the opposite of match it.
White Tea & Lavender was chosen deliberately as that counterpoint — clear, calming, and grounding. Light it before you start a chapter, or once you've closed the book for the night. Either way, it isn't a soundtrack to the story. It's the quiet that makes room for it.
White Tea & Lavender
It opens on white tea, lavender, and eucalyptus — clear and cool, like stepping back out into your own space. Rosemary, geranium, and clary sage settle in next, a soft herbal hush. What's left afterwards is cedarwood, patchouli, vanilla, and musk — low, warm, and lingering, the way a good ending stays with you long after the final chapter.

Candle Care & Safety
Handled well, this candle will carry the full arc of its story from opening to embers. Read this before your first burn.
First burn matters
Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during your first burn (usually 2–3 hours). This helps prevent tunnelling and sets the memory for future burns.
Trim your wick
Before each burn, trim the wick to around 5mm. This keeps the flame steady, reduces soot, and extends the life of your candle.
Burn time
Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This protects the wax and scent quality while keeping your space safe.
Keep it clean
Ensure the wax pool is free from wick trimmings, dust, or debris. A clean surface means a cleaner burn.
Safe placement
Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Reuse or recycle
Once your candle is finished, clean out the ceramic vessel and repurpose it — as a bud vase, pen holder, or keepsake. Wax refills are coming soon.
