Caring For Your Candle
Your Peony & Ember candle is crafted to elevate everyday moments.
To ensure a clean, long-lasting burn and preserve the integrity of your scent, follow these simple care steps:
First Burn Matters
Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during your first burn (usually 2–3 hours). This helps prevent tunnelling and sets the memory for future burns.
Trim Your Wick
Before each burn, trim the wick to around 5mm. This keeps the flame steady, reduces soot, and extends the life of your candle.
Burn Time
Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This protects the wax and scent quality while keeping your space safe.
Keep It Clean
Ensure the wax pool is free from wick trimmings, dust, or debris. A clean surface means a cleaner burn.
Safe Placement
Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, pets, and anything flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Reuse or Recycle
Once your candle is finished, clean out the jar and repurpose it — as a bud vase, pen holder, or keepsake container. Minimalist design, endless possibilities.
